Who we are
The North Carolina Infectious Diseases Society (NCIDS) is an organization of pharmacists, physicians, scientists and other health care professionals dedicated to the promotion and recognition of excellence in research, patient care, public health, disease prevention and education in the field of infectious diseases in the state of North Carolina. NCIDS promotes the aims and goals of its members by its organizational structure, professional meetings, advocacy, educational development opportunities, and other activities.
We are a state affiliate of the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

NCIDS Spring Conference
NCIDS is excited to announce a date for the spring scientific conference on March 14, 2026 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina at the Friday Center (100 Friday Center, Dr, Chapel Hill, NC). CME will be available for attendees (both physician and pharmacist)

Hotel Accommodations
A limited number of rooms have been reserved for participants for Friday, March 13, 2026 at the Courtyard by Marriott Chapel Hill, 100 Marriott Way, Chapel Hill, NC. The room rate is $189.00. To make your reservations, call the Marriott at 919-883-0700 and refer to “NC Infectious Disease Society” for the group rate. Individuals are responsible for making their own reservations.
